Kim has been in the hair industry since March 1st 2021. She attended school at Blanche Macdonald and completed advanced training at The Refinery House in Chilliwack. She comes from a background of makeup.
She is a dancer, a musician, and all around an artist. She loves to express herself in creative ways. We love Kim’s eager spirit and willingness to try new things. Kim specializes in Alternative looks, shags, vivids, and especially CURLS! If you are looking for something rad with your hair you can be sure to find it in her chair.

“I had the chance to go see Kim at Chantel Funk + Co today. I was seeing her for a curly hair styling & cut. I can’t say enough good things about my appointment, and the overall experience I had. Kim was incredibly knowledgeable, and able to share that all with me so I can have the best results with my curly hair. She answered every single one of my questions (and I had a lot lol) in detail, walked me through step by step how to care for and achieve my hair goals. She tried products on my hair and recommended what will work best for me. Lastly she gave me a “curly hair cut” which I have never had before. I love it, it looks great and brought a little life and bounce back into my hair.
Curly hair is daunting and learning to care for it and properly style it feels a bit overwhelming, but Kim took the time with me and gave me a better understanding. This haircut made me realize I’ve never had a hair cut by a stylist who really knew how to cut curly hair. Also the scalp massage was so nice. Overall so happy and would definitely recommend!”
