How does a hair salon reduce their footprint on the earth?

We love nature and we are proud to offer all of you a green salon. A collective of stylists who are committed to reducing our footprint and partnering with brands who make a difference.

Green circle salons provides a program that reduces our waste by nearly 100%. We have been a green circle salon since 2013! Our guests hair have been a part of the oil spill cleanup that happened in Vancouver a few years ago.

The brands we partner with also contribute to the wellbeing of the earth. Here are some of our favourite initiatives.

Davines – Ethio Trees // From carbon offset to the generation of positive social and environmental impacts in Ethiopia and in the world.

Labiosthetique – Colour with Care program is designed to support Doctors Without Borders Directly. Every tube of color is carbon neutral, of the most natural origin, without animal testing AND donates to Doctors Without Borders. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international emergency medical humanitarian organization founded by doctors and journalists in 1971. Their teams go where people’s needs are greatest to provide neutral, impartial, and independent emergency healthcare to people affected by disaster, disease, conflict and exclusion. MSF also bears witness, amplifying patient and staff experiences and speaking out to bring abuses and intolerable situations to the public eye. Around 63,000 people work for MSF in over 70 countries. More than 80 per cent of the staff are hired in the countries in which we work. They offer basic healthcare, perform surgery, address epidemics, rehabilitate and run hospitals and clinics, carry out vaccination campaigns, operate nutrition centres, provide mental healthcare and offer training to local medical staff. We believe that not only does Mother Earth need tending, so do the people. Leaving less footprint on earth means lifting others up with us.
