Nothing feels worse than being alone. Add a global pandemic and its a recipe for disaster. At Chantel Funk + Co. we connect more deeply with our guests and continue to build a community beyond the hair appointments. It’s our goal to not only empower you through self care and amazing hair but to inspire you to live your best life with a group of people who want to see you thrive. We have tried a lot of different things in this past year and we will continue to find ways to deepen that connection, grow our community and ultimately live our best lives alongside you. Our community is here for you and we thought it would be cool to look back at things we have done together and some exciting things coming your way for 2021!

Some things we tried together:

-PATREON- This was an exciting excusive platform we launched during quarantine closures as a way to stay connected with you, inspire you with things to do and ways to take care of your hair while we all were at home. Who remembers Jessica’s amazing at home work out videos? Or Ali’s hair how to’s? You can find alot of these videos now on our YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

-LIVE VIDEOS- We had a few sessions with live streaming for your entertainment, including a chat about extensions with our lovely friends at Beard & Bardot. We love being able to highlight friends who offer services we don’t and it was fun to explore all the ins and outs live.

-VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS- This was a fun one. A lot of people found it hard to care for their hair by the time they had been home for a couple months. Our team had so much fun face timing with you and coming up with creative ways to keep your hair healthy.

-ONLNE STORE- Wow wow wow! Has this ever been such an incredible hit with our community. We started by hand delivering your goods through quarantine and now have a full blown system through Canada post and in store pickup. This has really made shopping with us convenient and yall haven’t been shy.

-EMAILS- It has been so nice to keep everyone in the loop both far and wide across Canada about what we have been up to in the shop, behind the scenes and even being able to share words of encouragement with you.

-FACEBOOK GROUP- We have this really cool group called FUNK’d Life on Facebook that is where we post funny things, chat about what we love about the day and so much more. If you love our team and love what we stand for, this group is for you!

–HAIR CHATS- We have some fun interviews from our team coming your way on YouTube. We ask our stylists all kinds of questions about them, their career and even weird and funny stories! Coming Soon

-FREE SERVICES- We know that it has been so hard not to see friends and family over the holidays and during a season of life that has been so incredibly hard. That is why for February we have been offering free wash and styles for anyone and everyone (safely of course). Its been so great to see yall back in the chair, sometimes at the same time as your friends. We celebrate the fact that our industry has been completely safe with no covid transmission at our shop. We are a safe place to chat with other people and to feel that sense of community.
